A successful day today with our church fair, a wonderfully hot and sunny day with a need for parasols rather than umbrella's. On the whole we raised around £520 which is pretty good considering that I forgot to put the ad in the local newspaper. Think I'd better delegate that job to someone else next year, well I was going to but I forgot to phone her to delegate it to her.
I took my jewellery and sold £57 worth which I was quite pleased with in the circumstances lol but I did book 3 parties which was really valuable to me with a couple of other people interested.
I also booked another fair for October and a summer garden party fair in July so my diary is beginning to look much fuller now.
Well at least the stress is over from the organisation, why do I get myself into these things lol. I suppose I get a couple of months off now before the planning begins for the Christmas fair. Its lovely to see everyone working together though and its amazing how many people turn up on the day to help and how it all sort of falls into place.

WOW Look at the date.
Can't believe it's the 27th of May already, where on earth has this year gone and thank goodness I found my blog address again lol.
Lots and lots has been going on with www.perfectlygorgeous lots of sales and a few fairs and one or two parties too. Things have really moved on and now we have the tiny scrap tins, for an alternative to a greetings card. Including every occasion imaginable they are selling well and we get lots of order in.
Our range of greetings hards have increased and we've been through Valentines, Mothers Day and Easter successfully and we're now heading for Fathers Day with a good range of cards.
In May we opened a new section called Gorgeous Accessories. The plan is to place everything that doesn't fit into the other sections into it. For example trinket tins, brooches, rings, wine glass charms, note books, handbag and mobile phone charms and kilt pins.
With sales already taking off on this section we hope to add more and more gorgeous things in time.
The next step in the journey of Perfectly Gorgeous is hopefully to purchase a torch and start making my own beads giving more scope for creation. A very exciting prospect though it may take time to learn how to make the beads lol.
I'm planning some jewellery lessons, quite simple, bracelets and a necklace. Not sure of the prices yet, but will include materials and coffee. Hoping to make it fun and chatty. Hoping people will come along lol. Watch this space........
